Well, this is it.  This is the final day I can work on the site before I leave.  I would like to apologize for not being able to update for the past week.  I would also like to express my appreciation to all that have submitted information for my use.  You all have been very helpful.  Congratulations to the Cheesy Poofs on their excellent showing at LA this past weekend.  I shall see you all next week at Silicon Valley!

I've been communicating with teams from all around the nation, and one common concern is that of teams who think their robot can perform a certain task better than anyone else, causing them to impose an "intimidation" during the 2-minute strategizing period.  Other teams are too proud to swallow their pride and admit that, "We do not think we can do that."  Some even complain how the 2-minute time "limit" is way too short for strategies to be formed, resulting in clueless drivers and coaches who say, "Don't worry, I'll walk you through it."  I personally believe that the 2-minute factor adds a new facet to strategizing, as well as emphasizes the helpfulness of pre-event scouting (hence my site!!!).  Teams should display gracious professionalism at the competition, admitting any uncertainties about their robot and also listening to the opinions of other teams with regard to strategy.  It shall definitely be an important key to success.
